Formaggio’s Italian Restaurant and pizzeria opened in July, 2005. Owned by Donna Caruso, Manny Tzilvelis, Bill Robey and Karen Robey, they have been catering to the local community and have become a local favorite as evidenced by their award for Best Pizza in Brandon in 2008 and 2009. But the menu is more extensive than good pizza. Their chef creates menu items that range from chicken marsala to shrimp romaneli ala vodka. They are also able to meet your tastes and customize dishes to your liking.
But the best part of Formaggio’s is that they are willing to go the extra mile. For example, they shut down their restaurant for a young couple who were going to get engaged. The evening included the place all to themselves, a violinist, decorations that imagined a star lit evening, basically a magical evening. The staff truly believe it is not just about the meal, it is about the people also.
They can do private parties and cater events. We have used them many times and the service and food has been excellent. They give a 10% military discount with ID, have a $7.77 Cheese Pizza and $8.88 Pepperoni Pizza carry out special, and they serve different flavors of Gelato.

They are also hosting Monday Night Football and Sunday NFL Ticket on 5 large screen Hi Def televisions. Monday night there are draft beer specials with a limited menu.
Sundays there is a breakfast buffet. Eggs and Omelets are made to order from 8:30-12:30 with the dinner menu to follow. Come on in and bring the family for a delightful meal and good time.
