Give a Dog a Bone is owned by Hillary Almand and opened 2 ½ years ago and is a dog and cat specialty store. She sells all natural foods and treats and supplies for dogs and cats. When I visited, Hillary was in the middle of baking some of those treats, so I can vouch that they are fresh. In fact, she bakes many of the treats in the store daily. She let me know that dogs tend to like pumpkin cookies and they are good for their tummies.

Hillary sponsors many events and all the proceeds go to CARE (Critter Adoption and Rescue Effort). One of her events is a pet car wash that works like an assembly line. The pet goes through and by the end of the line they are ready to go. Keep checking for the date of the next one.
