Happy Paws & Tails was born approximately 4 years ago in a kiosk at the Brandon Mall.  The owners, Shannon and Jim Cloversettle quickly outgrew that location and moved to their current location at 6128 Winthrop Town Centre Ave at the intersection of Providence Rd and Bloomingdale Ave about 18 months ago.  Happy Paws & Tails is a family owned and run shop that brags all natural foods and treats for your dogs and cats.  After all, pets are people too.

The food and treats contain no corn, wheat, or soy, all common fillers used in commercial pet foods.  By the way, these three fillers are what dogs and cats are usually allergic to when they have allergies.  These items are not found naturally in their diets.  They can cause dry, itchy skin, hair loss or dullness, lack of energy, chronic ear problems and chewing at the feet.  Avoid protein fillers and all gluten's and look for real meat protein (chicken, turkey, beef, etc) and whole grains (barley, brown rice, sweet potato, etc) for maximum health and strength.  Also stay away from diets that include meat or poultry by-product, artificial colors or preservatives such as BHA, BHT and ethoxyquin, which may cause an increased incidence of liver cancer.

Happy Paws & Tails specializes in all natural foods and snacks including ingredients that contain high quality animal proteins (whole meat, poultry or fish) as the first ingredient, such as: turkey and chicken; red meat; herring and salmon.

Shannon and Jim recommend switching your pets from the commercial food they may be eating now to the all natural foods by integrating a new diet over 3-4 weeks slowly weaning off the current to the new food.  Within in no time you will see increased vitality and energy.  And the nice part is that your pet will actually need to eat less because they will be getting a more complete diet.  Your pets will be happier and healthier eating brands that are on the forefront of nutrition and education within the pet food industry.
